NUTRITIONIST

 

I had an appointment with a nutritionist today. This is my first time ever seeing one. My co-worker was talking about how this lady provides really good nutrition recommendations and how she's especially good with hair and appearance issues that may be a direct result of inadequate nutrition. By the end of the appointment I left with an entire weekly eating plan written out and some recommendations about things I might want to consider like hair loss vitamins. I've been a little sensitive about my thinning hair lately so I'm really glad she had something to say about it. She said there's no one-size-fits-all diet plan and that everyone is different. She said the best thing is really to try these things out for myself and see how they work. I found it all fascinating. I really like learning new things and she pointed out all these areas where I didn't even know I needed improvement. Like, instead of conventionally-grown produce, vegetables and products she suggested I switch to an all organic diet. She wanted to make sure I was getting enough vitamins and water. She wanted to know how much stress I was under and if I was getting enough sleep. She really looked at everything. I was impressed!
