I am going over my spreadsheet that contains information about the Lasik I am contemplating having done.  I want to make sure I feel completely comfortable and sure that I have done all the research and learned all I can before I go to my first appointment.  They will do a baseline evaluation to see if I am suitable to have this surgery.  If all goes well with the baseline evaluation, I guess the next step is to prepare myself for the surgery.  I’ve learned that the day before the Lasik eye surgery, I have to stop using my makeup, face creams, lotions and perfumes, because using these things could increase the risk of infection during and after the surgery.  I guess I can make it through one day without putting on makeup.  After all, I am not as vain as my Auntie.  I will probably have to scrub my eyelashes before surgery, I’ll bet they will tell me how, to make sure to get ride of residues and debris along the lashes.  I can’t believe that there could be any significant amount of debris along my eyelashes, but if they say so, I guess I will have to believe it.
